How It Works

Three steps. One tool. Cones that actually look like cones.

Step 1 — Scoop & Break

Grind your flower first. Then use the beveled edge of the Cone Boss to scoop and break the material directly into the funnel side of the tool. The bevel is there for a reason — it shears clumps and pulls flower forward without compacting it, so what lands in the funnel is loose, even, and ready to fall.

Don't crush. Don't grind it twice. Let the edge do the work.

Step 2 — Fill

Seat the funnel end over the opening of a 1¼ or king-size cone. Hold the cone upright between two fingers — paper just below the funnel lip, not pinched. A light tap on the side of the tool, or a gentle shake, is all you need. Gravity does the rest.

The funnel is sized so flower flows in a single column instead of bridging at the top. If you see it pile up at the mouth of the cone, you've gone too fast — slow down and tap.

Step 3 — Pack

Once the cone is loaded, flip the tool. The opposite end is the packer — a flat, sized tip that fits inside the mouth of the cone. Push down firmly, but stop short of feeling resistance through the paper. You want a dense column with airflow, not a plug.

Two to three short presses is usually enough. Twist the tip on the way out to leave a clean surface for your finishing twist.

Pro Tips

  • Grind medium, not fine. Fine grind packs too tight and chokes airflow. Medium grind loads faster and smokes more evenly.
  • Tap, don't shake hard. Aggressive shaking compacts the funnel and slows the load. Gentle taps on the side keep flow consistent.
  • Save the packer pressure for the last third. Light pressure as you fill, firmer pressure at the top — that's where most pre-rolls fail.
